At Faith & Grief, our mission is to provide opportunities for comfort & hope to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. We are committed to supporting those who are grieving through support programs, unique resources, and education.
Our staff is a dedicated group of individuals committed to this mission. We are a multi-faith nonprofit that honors and recognizes the importance of a person’s faith tradition and beliefs and searches for meaning in processing grief. We currently do not have any open positions.
Communications & Development Intern
Position Title: Communications & Development Intern
Start Date: Summer 2025 & Fall 2025
Essential Tasks:
- Content Creation:
- Drafting and editing blog posts, articles, and other written materials.
- Creating social media content, including text, images, and videos..
- Social Media Management:
- Monitoring and engaging with social media channels.
- Scheduling and posting content on various platforms.
- Analyzing social media performance and identifying trends.
- Office Administration:
- Performing basic administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing emails.
- Assisting with filing and other organizational tasks.
- Learning and Development:
- Attending training sessions and workshops to improve communication skills.
- Shadowing senior team members to learn about different aspects of the job.

Essential Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
- Ability to create engaging and informative content.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software (a plus).
- Degree majors in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field are preferred but not required.
Period: Summer 2025 or Fall 2025
Intern hourly (10 hours/week at $15/hr).
